Massimo Pigliucci

Massimo Pigliucci taught philosophy at the City College of New York. He earned doctorates in genetics from the University of Ferrara, in biology from the University of Connecticut, and in the philosophy of science from the University of Tennessee. Pigliucci authored or edited 13 books. His research focused on the relationship between science and philosophy and on the nature of pseudoscience. His work appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Philosophy Now, and The Philosophers’ Magazine.
