Mascha Greune studied communication design at the University of Applied Sciences for Design in Augsburg. After several years working as a graphic designer for a publishing house, she worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator for publishers, magazines, and agencies. She illustrated numerous books for children and adults. In 2007, she was nominated for the picture-book award “Der Meefisch”.
