Masaru Emoto

Masaru Emoto (1943–2014) was a Japanese parascientist and practitioner of alternative medicine. Born in Japan, he studied social sciences with a focus on international relations at Yokohama University. In 1986, he founded International Hado Membership in Tokyo. He later headed, among other organizations, International Hado Membership, Office Masaru Emoto, LLC, the Emoto Peace Project Foundation, and the IHM General Research Institute. Emoto died in Tokyo in October 2014.
