Mary Basson

Mary Basson was associated with the Milwaukee Art Museum, which houses the largest collection of Gabriele Münter’s works in North America. Her fascination with Münter’s painting led her to explore the artist’s history. In the course of this research, she traveled to Munich and to the Yellow House in Murnau at the foot of the Alps.
