Mary Auld

Mary Auld is a pseudonym used by the author Rachel Cooke. She wrote nonfiction books for children on a broad range of subjects and also worked editorially in the field of children’s nonfiction. In recognition of this work, she was made an honorary member of the English Association. From childhood, she pursued music as an amateur, including singing and playing the flute, and took part in orchestras and choirs.
