Marv Wolfman (born 1946) is an American comic-book writer, novelist, and screenwriter. He began his career at DC Comics in 1968 and also wrote for Marvel from 1972 onward. With George Pérez, he reshaped The New Teen Titans from 1980 and created or developed characters including Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, Deathstroke, and Nightwing. From 1985 to 1986, Wolfman and Pérez wrote the DC event series Crisis on Infinite Earths, which restructured the DC Universe. For Marvel, Wolfman wrote Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Fantastic Four, and was closely involved in the creation of characters such as Blade, Nova, Black Cat, and Bullseye. He also wrote much of the horror series The Tomb of Dracula, as well as novels, television and animation scripts, and video-game material. He received a Scribe Award in 2006 and was inducted into the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame in 2011.
