Martine Bijl

Martine Bijl (1948–2019) was an actress and children’s author. She played the leading role in a popular comedy series in the Netherlands for fourteen years and received several major theatre awards. She was also successful as a children’s author. Her book *Königin außer Dienst* was published in German by Zsolnay in 2021.
