Martin Schwander was born in Bern in 1987 and grew up there. He completed his studies at the Bern University of Teacher Education and worked as a lower-secondary school teacher. Alongside his teaching career, he devoted many years to breakdancing and taught the discipline. He had been fascinated by literature for a long time.
