Marshall B. Rosenberg (1934–2015) was an internationally active conflict mediator and the founder of the international Center for Nonviolent Communication in the United States. He developed the method of Nonviolent Communication, which aims to address differences peacefully in personal, professional, and political contexts. Rosenberg taught his method in more than two dozen countries to a wide range of groups, including educators and students, parents, managers, medical and psychological professionals, peace activists, police officers, and clergy.
