Marliese Arold

Marliese Arold (born in 1958) is a German author of children's and young adult books. She studied library science, specializing in children's literature, in Stuttgart and initially worked as a librarian. Her first works were published in 1983; since then, she has published numerous books, including more than 200 titles according to publisher biographies. Her books have been translated into more than 20 languages. Her best-known series include “Magic Girls.”
