Markus Thielemann

Markus Thielemann, born in 1992, grew up in Lower Saxony. He studied geography and philosophy in Osnabrück, followed by literary writing at the Hildesheim Institute of Literary Writing. During school and university breaks, he worked in factories and in agriculture. His novel “Von Norden rollt ein Donner” was shortlisted for the 2024 German Book Prize.
