Markus Bundi

Markus Bundi, born in 1969, studied philosophy, modern German literature or German studies, and linguistics at the University of Zurich. He worked as a sports and cultural editor and taught philosophy and German at Alte Kantonsschule Aarau. Since 2001, he published literary and essayistic works, including the novels Alte Bande (2019) and Die letzte Kolonie (2021), as well as the story collection Der Junge, der den Hauptbahnhof Zürich in die Luft sprengte (2020). As an editor, he oversaw DIE REIHE at Wolfbach Verlag and the collected works of Klaus Merz. He received several awards for his literary and editorial work.
