Mark Jones

Mark Jones, born in 1981, is a historian. He was a research fellow at Freie Universität Berlin and taught at Ruhr University Bochum. His research focuses on the relationship between violence and political culture in twentieth-century Germany. His first book, “Am Anfang war Gewalt. Die deutsche Revolution 1918/19 und der Beginn der Weimarer Republik,” was published by Propyläen in 2019.
