Mario Krischel

Mario Krischel, born in 1995, was born and raised in Rietberg in East Westphalia, Germany. He studied sports journalism in Hanover and completed internships or work placements at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Schalke 04 and SPOX, among others. In 2017, he became an editor at the sports magazine kicker. His first book, “Träumen lohnt sich – mein etwas anderer Weg zum Fußballprofi” (“Dreaming Is Worthwhile – My Somewhat Different Path to Becoming a Professional Footballer”), was published in 2021. The book is a biography of footballer Robin Gosens.
