Mariella Heyd was born in 1989. She is a trained nurse and began writing short stories at the age of twelve. In 2016, she published her debut novel, “Elfenfehde.” In 2017, she received the Indie Autor Preis at the Leipzig Book Fair for her fantasy fiction. Her personal interests include fiction, art, and mythology; she also devoted her free time to her cats.
