Marie Kondo

After completing her studies, Marie Kondo developed the KonMari method, a system for tidying and organizing. Her books became international bestsellers and were translated into nearly 40 languages. A Netflix series about her approach to tidying received widespread international attention. Time magazine included her among the 100 most influential women worldwide. In English, her surname became a verb—“to kondo”—used as a synonym for radical tidying.
