Marie Glassl

Marie Glassl studied literary studies and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main and Venice. She worked as a dramaturg, curator, author and translator at the intersection of the performing arts and discourse. Her areas of focus include the materiality of language, the relationship between aesthetics and the politics of language, and the feminist Italian art tradition. In 2024, she directed the interdisciplinary project “On Wasted Grounds,” organized jointly with Diaphanes. She has also translated poetry and political theory from Italian and English into German.
