Mariasole Bianco

Mariasole Bianco (born 1990) is a marine biologist with a doctorate. She conducted research at the University of Cairns in Australia and joined the World Commission on Protected Areas and the International Union for Conservation of Nature in 2012. In 2013, she founded Worldrise, an organization dedicated to protecting the oceans and climate and to raising young people’s awareness of climate action.
