Marianne Pitzen

Marianne Pitzen is an artist and feminist. In 1981, she co-founded the Frauenmuseum Bonn, a women’s museum in Bonn. Her honors include being named “Woman of the Month” by WDR 1 (1991), the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon (1998), an award from the Stiftung Aufmüpfige Frauen (2014), and the Rheinlandtaler (2020).
