Marian Wild, born in Nuremberg in 1982, is an art scholar whose areas of focus include modern and contemporary art as well as architectural and spatial theory. He studied at the Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg and Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, and holds a doctorate in philosophy and a degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing. FH). Wild was the first recipient of the Heinz Neidel Research Fellowship established by the Institute for Modern Art in Nuremberg. His publications include “Meine Zelle war ein großer Garten – Der Fall der türkischen Ärztin und Kommunistin Banu Büyükavci” (2023); he also co-authored “Einhorn, Leder, Sternenstaub – Blicke in das Universum der Queerkultur” (2023).
