Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and entrepreneur of Black and Irish ancestry. She has released 15 studio albums, received five Grammy Awards, and sold approximately 200 million records worldwide. Carey holds the record for the most number-one singles by a solo artist and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is one of the world’s best-selling Christmas hits. She is the mother of twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
