Maria V. Snyder

Maria V. Snyder was born and raised in Philadelphia. She studied meteorology at Penn State University and initially worked as a meteorologist. In 1995, she began writing novels while seeking a creative change from family life. Her fascination with major storms and tornadoes began early. In addition to writing novels, she published articles in magazines and newspapers and worked as a trainer in writing seminars.
