Maria Turtschaninoff (born 1977) is a Finnish author. She studied human ecology before beginning her writing career. She is known in particular for the »Maresi« fantasy trilogy for young adults, which was translated into around 30 languages and received several awards in Finland. »Moorhöhe« was her first book for adults; it was published in 23 countries and received the Swedish YLE Literary Prize in 2022.
