Maria Schreiber

Maria Schreiber earned a doctorate in journalism and communication studies from the University of Vienna. As a scholarship holder of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, she participated in the interdisciplinary DOC Team project “Bildpraktiken.” She was also a guest researcher in the University of Potsdam’s graduate program “Visibility and Making Visible” and at RMIT University’s Digital Ethnography Research Center in Australia. As a postdoctoral researcher, she worked on the project “Visual Biographies” at the University of Vienna’s Institute of Sociology and subsequently in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Salzburg.
