Maria Pourchet

Maria Pourchet, born in 1980 in Épinal, Lorraine, is a French author and screenwriter. She holds a doctorate in sociology. Her novel *Feuer* was published by Luchterhand in 2023 and was nominated, among other distinctions, for the Prix Goncourt. She received the Prix de Flore in 2023 for *Western*.
