Maria Popova

Maria Popova, born in Bulgaria in 1985, is a writer and essayist. She is known for her writing about books and reading and for her publication platform The Marginalian, formerly called Brain Pickings. Her contributions have been part of the Library of Congress Digital Archive since 2012. Popova grew up surrounded by music and mathematics and studied in the United States.
