Dr Maria-Dorothea Heidler studied speech science at Humboldt University of Berlin from 1991 to 1996. Her professional career includes work as an academic speech therapist in neurological rehabilitation at Brandenburg Clinic and, from 2012, as a research associate at the Chair of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Potsdam.
