Margaret Millar

Margaret Millar (1915–1994) was a Canadian author of psychological thrillers. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, she studied classical philology, archaeology, and psychology. She also earned a concert diploma as a pianist and worked in Hollywood. From 1938, she was married to the writer Kenneth Millar, who was known by the name Ross Macdonald. Her work received the Edgar Allan Poe Award.
