Margaret Drabble

Margaret Drabble, born in Sheffield in 1939, is a British writer. She wrote novels, short stories and nonfiction, and received several awards for her work, including the John Llewellyn Rhys Memorial Prize for *The Millstone*. Drabble was the younger sister of the writer A. S. Byatt.
