Marcelo Figueras

Marcelo Figueras, born in Buenos Aires in 1962, worked as a journalist for several newspapers, including Clarín, and as an editor for the magazine Viva. He published short stories and novels and wrote several screenplays. Among his best-known works is the screenplay for the film Kamchatka, which received strong critical acclaim at the 2003 Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
