Marcello Simoni

Marcello Simoni, born in 1975 in Comacchio in the Po Delta, is an Italian author. He studied literature and worked as a librarian and archaeologist. For ten years, he catalogued books at the library of the Archbishop’s Seminary in Ferrara. His debut novel, *The Merchant of Cursed Books*, became an international bestseller and was translated into numerous languages.
