Marcel Dirsus (born 1990) is a political scientist with a doctorate. He studied in Hangzhou, Odesa, Paris, and Oxford. His areas of expertise include irregular changes of government, political violence, and German foreign policy. His writing has appeared in publications including The Washington Post and The Guardian. He has also worked as a non-resident fellow at Kiel University's Institute for Security Policy and advised governments, foundations, and international organizations such as NATO and the OECD.
