Manu Larcenet

Manu Larcenet, born Emmanuel Larcenet, was born in 1969 in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. He studied graphic and applied arts and also performed as the singer of a punk-rock band. His first drawings appeared in music fanzines. In 1994, he began his professional career as a comics artist with short stories for the magazine “Fluide Glacial”; from 1997, he also published in the Belgian magazine “Spirou”. Larcenet has produced more than 30 comic albums, both independently and in collaboration with other writers and artists.
