Manfred Wichmann (born 1971) is a historian and political scientist. He studied history, political science, and journalism and communication studies in Göttingen, Rome, and Berlin, earning an M.A. from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2002. From 2002 to 2012, he was an archivist and deputy archive director at the Jewish Museum Berlin. He received his doctorate from Freie Universität Berlin in 2013. He subsequently served as collection curator at the Berlin Wall Foundation until 2022, and in May 2022 became director of collections at the Foundation House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany. Wichmann has published on modern German history, including the reception of Italian Fascism in the Weimar Republic, and has curated numerous exhibitions.
