Malin Persson Giolito

Malin Persson Giolito (born 1969) grew up in Danderyd, a suburb of Stockholm. She is a lawyer and worked for several years as an attorney at the European Commission in Brussels. She became widely known for the novel *Quicksand*, published in German as *Im Traum kannst du nicht lügen*. The book was named Sweden’s Best Crime Novel and Best Nordic Crime Novel, published in 29 countries, and adapted as a Netflix series.
