Maja Gal Stromar

Maja Gal Štromar, born in 1969 in Novo Mesto, worked as an actress and as a theatre and film director. She was also active as a poet, novelist and translator. Her novel “Ženska drugje” was shortlisted for the Kresnik Literary Prize for best novel of 2017. She received critical acclaim for the novel published here in translation.
