Maithy Vu

Maithy Vu is a Vietnamese-American writer. While completing a bachelor’s degree in performing arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz, she wrote poetry, plays and sketches for an all-female comedy team. She earned a master’s degree in creative writing and literature from Harvard Extension School, where she completed her first novel, “Squid Season.” Vu was the editor of the fifth volume in the “Rebel Girls” series, “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Young Women Who Changed the World” (Hanser, 2023).
