Maike Barth

Maike Barth (born 1966 in Hanover) studied Scandinavian studies, literature, and Dutch studies and spent periods living in Stockholm and Copenhagen. After working for many years as an editor for book publishers, she began working as a freelance translator in 2015, translating literary works, fiction, and nonfiction from Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish. Authors whose works she has translated include Ann-Helén Laestadius, Ingrid Hedström, and Peter Englund.
