Magnus Nilsson

Born in 1984, Magnus Nilsson is a Swedish chef and author. After training as a chef and sommelier in Sweden, he worked with Pascal Barbot at L’Astrance in Paris. He subsequently joined the Swedish restaurant Fäviken Magasinet as a sommelier and took over its kitchen within a year. His books include *Fäviken*, *The Nordic Cookbook*, *The Nordic Baking Book*, and *Nordic: A Photographic Essay of Landscapes*. Nilsson also appeared in the documentary series *The Mind of a Chef* and *Chef’s Table*. In 2015, he received the White Guide Global Gastronomy Award.
