Magda Jaros studied philology at the University of Łódź and worked as a freelance journalist, including for the Polish lifestyle magazine Twój STYL. Among the people she interviewed were former Polish president Aleksander Kwaśniewski, composer Krzysztof Penderecki, boxer Dariusz Michalczewski, and actors George Clooney and Andy Garcia. Her book “Reconciliation with Evil” grew out of video conversations with Leon Weintraub conducted in 2020 during the pandemic.
