Madeleine Roux was born in Minnesota and studied creative writing and acting at Beloit College. She is a New York Times bestselling author of horror and fantasy novels for young adults and adults. Her best-known works include the Asylum saga and the House of Furies series. She has also written short stories and three novels set in the World of Warcraft universe, as well as short fiction for the Star Wars universe.
