Luke Pearson

Luke Pearson, born in 1987 in Stockton-on-Tees, England, is a British illustrator and comics artist. He has worked for organizations including Random House, The New York Times, Penguin Books, The Guardian, First Second Books, Disney Television Animation and Cartoon Network. He became known for “Hildafolk” and “Everything We Miss.” His series about the blue-haired girl Hilda has received several awards; “Hilda and the Midnight Giant” was named Best Children’s Comic at the British Comic Awards in 2012 and at the International Comic Salon Erlangen in 2014.
