Luke Harding is a British journalist and author. From 2007 to 2011, he worked as Russia correspondent for the British newspaper The Guardian. In 2011, the Russian government expelled him from the country; according to the source, this was the first such case since the end of the Cold War. Harding received the James Cameron Memorial Trust Award in 2014 for his reporting. He has published several books, including works about the Litvinenko case, the Russian mafia state, WikiLeaks, and Edward Snowden. His books have been translated into around thirty languages, and the books about WikiLeaks and Snowden were adapted into films.
