Lothar Bendel, born in 1948, is a German chef. At the age of 22, he was the youngest chef saucier in the Hilton group at the time. He took his first position as head chef at the age of 23. After working in Zurich, Bonn, Amsterdam, Assmannshausen and Bad Kreuznach, he spent more than 30 years as head chef at a four-star hotel in the Rheingau region.
