Lot Vekemans (born 1965) is a Dutch playwright and novelist. She studied geography and later attended the Colofon writers’ academy in Amsterdam. She has written plays since 1995. Her work has been translated into 22 languages and performed in more than 35 countries. Her notable works include the award-winning play “Venom,” which toured internationally from 2009. Her debut novel, “A Wedding Dress from Warsaw,” was nominated for the Anton Wachter Prize.
