Ljubko Deresch (born 1984) is a Ukrainian prose writer, essayist and screenwriter. He has also worked as a lecturer and curator. He is known, among other works, for the novels “Kult” and “The Worship of the Lizard,” which are set in the fictional Carpathian city of Midni Buky. His other works include “Wo der Wind ist.” His essays, articles and short stories have appeared in various magazines, including Yi, Kafka, Radar, Pectoral, Harper’s Bazaar and Forbes.
