Liza Marklund

Liza Marklund (born 1962 in Piteå, Sweden) is a Swedish author and journalist. She worked for various newspapers and television broadcasters before becoming internationally known for her crime series featuring reporter Annika Bengtzon. In 1998, she received the Poloni Award from the Swedish Academy of Crime Writers for her debut novel, "Olympic Fire."
