Lisa Wells

Lisa Wells wrote a picture-book story that originally began as a love letter to her daughters. In December 2017, she was diagnosed with end-stage bowel and liver cancer. In her home in England, she founded the initiative “Lisa’s Army UK” to support her family. After her death, the story was also intended to help other families cope with bereavement.
