Lisa Unger

Lisa Unger was born in Connecticut and grew up in the United States, England, and the Netherlands. She initially worked for a publishing house before pursuing a career as a writer. Her debut thriller, *The Gift of Lies* (*Das Gift der Lüge*), became a bestseller. She went on to publish more than 20 novels, primarily psychological thrillers, which have been published internationally and achieved bestseller status.
