Lisa Huber

Lisa Huber was born in Villach in 1959. She attended the School of Arts and Crafts in Graz and studied painting and sculpture with Josef Pillhofer and at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. As a visual artist, she participated in numerous international exhibitions. From 2007 onward, she explored the Psalms through woodcuts and paper cuts, stained-glass windows, and large embroidered textiles. Her notable works include a Lenten veil for Klagenfurt Cathedral (2017) and one for St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna (2018).
